Welcome to Little Cherubs Childminding

Hello I am Kirsty an Ofsted Registered Childminder and mum to 2 girls.

My setting is a home from home environment in which children feel happy, secure and confident and where they are able to flourish. I do lots of engaging activities to encourage their play and stimulate their learning.
 
My garden is a secure outdoor space which has swings and a slide, water and sand tables, and many more exciting things to encourage your child's imagination and interests.  I encourage free flow play from inside to outside on fair weather days and we get outside puddle jumping on the not so fair days.

I regularly attend local playgroups and a variety of local parks that offer different physical challenges and problem solving.  I go on trips out to places such as Westonbirt Arboretum, Slimbridge, the forest of dean, Stratford Park and Robinswood Hill experiencing nature up close is vital to understanding how to care for wildlife and our planet. 
 
I also attend forest school once a week so children can experience this exciting way of learning.

I teach the children Phonics, helping them gain language skills and understanding, a solid foundation ready for school.

Having been a childminder now for 5 years and being a mum to 2 curious and fun loving children, I feel I have had a wide variety of experiences caring for children.

I am naturally calm, inquisitive and positive and bring this into my everyday interactions.

I encourage the children to explore and investigate; everything is fun and as we uncover the exciting mysteries of the world together the children are learning through play.

Safeguarding 
Prevent Duty
FGM
Food Hygiene
Level 3 early years educator

I am constantly updating my CPD in my own time to enhance the childcare provision that I provide.
